Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Job Descriptions:

We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Electrical Estimator to join our team! As an Estimator, your main responsibility will be to calculate and
estimate the expected cost and timeline of construction projects. This position will require travel to various client’s homes and construction sites.
    

Job Duties

  • Analyze documentation to gain an in-depth understanding of project requirements
  • Visit sites, and other venues to prepare electrical estimates 
  • Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts 
  • Create and present report to upper management 
  • Pull projects schematics and prospects from bids and tender database program 
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned by management team 

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a construction estimator for 2+ year and/or an electrical trades ticket
  • in-depth knowledge of of project management best practices 
  • Hands-on experience with complex data research activities
  • Good time management skills 
  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Critical thinking and problem solver 
  • Valid Driver License

Job Title: Experienced Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing crew of builders. This position requires a knowledgeable candidate, who is comfortable reading site plans, sketches, and blueprints. These plans will then result in the construction of wooden structures and supports.

Job Duties:

  • Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systems
  • Fitting and installing trim, doors, moulding and hardware
  • Experience framing
  • Measuring, cutting, and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes
  • Repairing and renovating wooden structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned by management team

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Carpenter for 3+ years
  • In-depth knowledge of framing installation
  • Good time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical-thinker and problem-solver

Job Title: Construction Labourer/Trades Assistant

Job Descriptions:

We currently have multiple positions available for Construction Labourers. This position would be responsible for assisting construction workers carry out a variety of tasks such as tidying up work areas, unloading materials, preparing worksites, cleaning debris, and executing other tasks as assigned.

 

Job Duties

  • Loading and unloading construction materials and moving them to work area
  •  Assist trades (Carpentry, Plumbing, Drywall) in completing assigned jobs
  •  Installing and removing concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades at construction sites
  •  Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  •  Interior and exterior Painting 
  •    Assisting in steel roofing and siding, strapping and installing.
  •  Leveling earth to fine grade specifications using rakes and shovels
  •  Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment
  • Operating saws, drills, and hammers 
  •  Tending or feeding equipment used in construction, such as mixers, compressors, and utility pumps
  •  Help complete site  cleanup during finishing process 

Job Requirements

  •  Experience an asset.
  •  Physical strength and stamina.
  • Communication, coordination, critical thinking and working well with others.
  •    Basic math and language literacy.
  • Open to learning new ideas.
  •  Organization and cleanliness.
